It will be difficult to see James Rodríguez on Monday, August 31 in Valdebebas, starting the preseason for the white team. The Colombian already told Zidane before the end of the League that he preferred to stay at home to be summoned, knowing that he would not have minutes even though there are now five changes. And that's when the few options James had to wear the Real Madrid shirt again died. Now, the Colombian is enjoying his holidays in Marbella and from there he has chatted for two hours with Daniel Habif, one of the most famous Mexican journalists and writers, about life, football, Madrid and Zidane.

“It's frustrating not to play. I know that I have the conditions to always play. But for other people I can't do it and that's frustrating. If I were a bad player I would accept it, but I am a person who wants to win and always play. This season has been one of the biggest disappointments of my career. There were days when I cried alone, but thank God I am young and I have years ahead of me to be happy, explains James, who still does not hold a grudge against Zidane: He has his own tastes for some players and is respectable. I don't get involved there, but when you see that you don't have the same opportunities as your teammates, it's difficult ... I wanted to leave and the club wouldn't let me out. I wanted to go where I could have played because I already knew that I would not have opportunities.

Zidane already had his base. My wish was that the fans would have the memory of my previous stage at Madrid, not this one ... I scored 36 goals and 42 assists.

James, who says that one of the few things that scares him in life are snakes, failed to reveal where he will play next season. At the moment, he is not clear about the team or the country: I too would like to know where I am going. It may take days or weeks until I know where I am going. I don't know, really. I want to go where I can play, where I am happy and where I feel loved by the whole world, says the Colombian, who boasts of his family and his solidarity side: I want to be happy, that all mine are well, have everything and are good people . Being able to contribute to people who don't have much fills me up a lot. I like to help people who have nothing.

Of course, the Colombian is not short when it comes to accumulating luxury cars, and he complains of not being able to enjoy this passion for Spanish traffic laws: I have had Porsche, Lamborgini, Bentley, and now a Mercedes G500 and another Mercedes 630 horsepower which is a bomb. I don't know which model, but it is a bomb. But I've stopped buying cars because I can't drive them, I don't have a license. They have taken it from me in Spain for speeding. I am taking courses to recover the points. Six hours like a good child, seeing signs ... In Spain there are 14 points and for me that is nothing. You do something and they take away three points.
