#Steeven.™ Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Raphael Varane made a very serious mistake in the 9th minute of the game that marked the first goal for Manchester City. The French center-back received a pass from Courtois and, within the large area, rested on his laurels. Gabriel Jesús pressed the exit of the white team and ended up stealing the ball from a Varane who failed to regain his position. The Brazilian yielded Sterling who, off the mark, finished first to score at will. Pep Guardiola's team came out on the pitch pressing very high. That caused Real Madrid to have to play with the French goalkeeper and with the centrals trying to get the ball played. In one of those pressures, Gabriel Jesús took advantage of Varane's indecision to steal the Frenchman's wallet and give the goal to Sterling. 3
