Danilo D'Ambrosio marca contra Atalanta.

Inter prevailed in the direct clash against Atalanta, third, and finished the Italian Serie A in second place, with four days to go before the clash with Getafe in the knockout stages of the Europa League.

A great start, in which he got a double advantage thanks to Danilo D'Ambrosio and the English Ashley Young, was enough for Inter to beat an Atalanta who is also already very focused on their appointment with Paris Saint Germain in the quarters of the Champions League final.

The Milanese box came out with: Handanovic; Godín, De Vrij, Bastoni; D'Ambrosio, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Young; Lautaro, Lukaku. It was a competitive eleven to be measured with Atalanta, a team that came to this appointment as third and with options to snatch second position from the Milanese.

Inter confirmed their solid defense, the best in Italy with 36 goals conceded, against the best striker in Serie A, that of an Atalanta who finished their brilliant campaign with 98 goals scored. They remained, therefore, on the verge of breaking the barrier of 100.

Conte's men shielded their ticket to the next Champions League and will now have four days to focus on the momentous duel with Getafe at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
