#Steeven.™ Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Today, no one can deny that the Countryman is the model that brings the most sales to Mini. The English firm, still transgressing its principles, has created a striking product that has managed to conquer the hearts of the public around the world. To this we must add that it offers mechanical versions for all tastes, with plug-in hybrid alternatives and other sports such as the rabid John Cooper Works. The current Countryman underwent a slight restyling at the beginning of the year to update its imprint and equipment. As we already told you, the evolution was more nuanced than in depth, but enough so that its rivals did not surpass it. Now comes the update for the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works, proving that sportiness and functionality don't have to be at odds. If you like it, don't miss it, because it matures in everything. Mini Countryman John Cooper Works aesthetic is more mature As you can see, the aesthetics of the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works is more mature. Of course, sportsmanship is not forgotten and for this it has elements that emphasize this spirit. Among the most outstanding we have the new front grill or the inclusion of standard LED technology in its optical groups. In case of opting for more advanced headlights, you can equip adaptive LEDs with variable light distribution. If we lag behind, we see how the design of the Union Jack light is integrated into its LED light groups. From there we make the jump to the bumper, where we find some double chrome exhaust tips that measure 9.5 centimeters each. Nor can we overlook the glossy black accents on the door handles. Finally, the color palette receives two new shades: White Silver metallic and Sage Green metallic. The interior respects the Mini heritage but with more careful materials Behind the scenes, the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works has little change. The basic lines of design and layout of controls and controls are maintained as in the other versions that make up the range. However, those responsible for the brand have included elements that provide a more technological touch. Thus, optionally, the instrument cluster can include a 5-inch-size digital display. Connectivity is another aspect that evolves, but also optionally. Thus, the central screen can be 8.8 inches with an updated design. It now features a piano black finished bezel and tactile controls. Thanks to a SIM card, the Countryman can install the Mini Navigation Plus system with real-time traffic alert. There will also be no lack of elements such as the Internet, Apple CarPlay or Amazon's Alexa. The mechanics of the Countryman John Cooper Works are still rabid and powerful Mechanically, the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works has no changes, but does not need them either. Thus, the 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline unit with 225 kW (306 hp) and 450 Nm of maximum torque remains under the hood. Its strength reaches the ground through all four wheels thanks to the effective ALL4 all-wheel drive system. All this, managed through the delicious 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. Thanks to this set it offers outstanding features. Thus, it signs an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour of 5.1 seconds. To control this momentum, in the standard equipment we find a sports braking system with four-piston calipers in the front train and one piston in the rear. In addition, pulling extras can include a sports suspension that reduces body roll and sticks the car to the ground. When does the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works hit the market?
