[News] ONPE: How much money will nine parties receive for public financing?

Acción Po[CENSORED]r is the political group that will receive a greater subsidy because it obtained more votes in the last congressional election, followed by Podemos Peru and Frepap
The ONPE approved today the financial transfer and monthly grant of direct public financing in favor of nine political parties with current representation in the Congress of the Republic.

 

These parties are: Po[CENSORED]r Action, APP, We are Peru, We can Peru, Frepap, UPP, Purple Party, Po[CENSORED]r Force and the Broad Front.

According to the ONPE Management Resolution No. 157, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, the nine political groups will receive this year the amount of S / 11′848,061.76.

 

"The ONPE also establishes that in this case the direct public financing, on a monthly basis, will only be delivered during the years 2020 and 2021, given that the term of the mandate of the Congress will be shorter, destined to complete the five-year legislative period 2016 and 2021" , read in the resolution.

 

The electoral organism authorized the Administration Management to carry out the interbank transfers of the public financing subsidy in the accounts of the Banco de la Nación that the political organizations must communicate to the ONPE.

It also ordered that the same management carry out the interbank transfers of the direct public financing subsidies corresponding to the months of April to June of this year in the accounts of the parties “that have complied with the requirements indicated in the Financing and Supervision Regulations of Party funds ”

 

How much will each party receive?

 

Acción Po[CENSORED]r is the political group that will receive the most money from the State for public financing, due to the fact that it obtained the most votes in last January's elections. The party of the lamp will receive only this year the sum of S / 1′588,537.75.

After AP, the parties that will receive the most subsidy from the State are Podemos Peru (S / 1′394,458.60) and Frepap (S / 1′394,016.52).

These two groups are followed by APP (S / 1′350,602.89), the Purple Party (S / 1′292,874.04), Fuerza Po[CENSORED]r (S / 1´282,859.33), UPP (S / 1′227,278.63), Frente Amplio (S / 1´164,313.34) and Somos Perú (S / 1′153,120.68).
