Changan wins Peugeot's hand and they will be the first to present their truck in Chile. You can now reserve one of the first 10 units.
Finally, Changan will present his new Hunter truck in Chile. We have talked a lot about this project, we have even spied on the truck and we are aware of everything that has been its joint development with the PSA Group. In China, this truck is known as the Kaicene F70, while in other markets it will be known as Changan Hunter and also as Peugeot Landtrek. In fact, Peugeot will market single cab versions and other equipment, but the rest should be maintained.

The special launch edition called "Dreamers" will have two special packs: "Adventure" that includes NatGeo equipment: a Nepal backpack, a kitchen set, two sets of cutlery, a tent for two people, two sleeping bags and a lamp for 115lm camping, in addition, a Victorinox knife and an Igloo brand cooler. The second “Essentials” pack includes a Karcher K2 Carkit 1,400w pressure washer, a Yakima bike rack and gate damper.

What we know about the Changan Hunter
As we found out in its homologation sheet and contrasting with the specifications of the Peugeot Landtrek already launched globally, Hunter will be offered in two versions, one with single-wheel drive and the other 4WD. Both are driven by a 1.9-liter turbo diesel engine with 150 Hp and 350 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission provided by Getrag. Changan declares a drag capacity of 3,500 kilos, although if we add the Peugeot specifications, we know that it can carry just over a ton.

Prices, equipment and more details, we will get to know them as the days go by. Did you like it? Did you expect anything else? Tell us in our "revamped" comments section below.
