The Ministry of Health (Minsa) approved this Saturday the administrative directive that regulates remote health work (TRS) for health and administrative personnel of Minsa and regional governments throughout the country, within the framework of measures to prevent coronavirus infections (COVID-19).

Ministerial Resolution No. 458-2020-Minsa, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano, instructs the General Directorate of Health Personnel to conduct and provide technical assistance to the TRS according to their respective powers.

The regulation specifies that this work will be carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Health Operations, the General Directorate of Telehealth, Reference and Emergencies, the General Office of Human Resources Management and the General Office of Information Technologies.

The directive regulates the technical criteria and procedures related to the implementation of remote health work for health and administrative personnel of the Minsa and regional governments.

The resolution seeks to improve access to health services and guarantee the safety of medical and administrative personnel, who are at constant risk of COVID-19 infection.
