Dr.Drako Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Colombia has become one of the Latin American countries in promoting electric vehicles of recognized brands such as Renault, BMW and Nissan. The country had one of the highest sales in this guild during 2019, and to this is added that Colombians will now be able to acquire one of the most prestigious brands in the world, Tesla. It should be noted that these cars had already arrived in Colombia through private imports and direct purchases with a total of 7 units. The person in charge of distributing these cars will be the firm of the Citröen and SsangYong brands, Parra Arango, which announced that it will import some units from the Elon Musk company. The first to enter the market will be one of the cheapest, it is the Tesla 3 model, which runs on electric power, has a dual engine with all-wheel drive, fast acceleration, high autonomy and fast charging. The vehicles will be exhibited at the firm's dealership on Carrera Séptima with calle 129, Bella Suiza sector of the town of Usaquén, in the city of Bogotá. There those interested can see the models available, however, they will be sold virtually. How much will a Tesla cost in Colombia? Parra Arango has not yet estimated a price for these high-end cars. However, in the United States a Tesla Model 3, without taxes and deductions, ranges between 35 thousand and 63 thousand dollars, which in Colombian pesos would be approximately between 130 and 230 million pesos. It should be noted that the vehicles arrived at a conjunctural moment and in the midst of a crisis, following the coronavirus pandemic. 3
