To celebrate its partnership with Eon Productions, which produces the films in which James Bond is famous, Triumph is offering a very limited Bond Edition of its Scrambler 1200. The 25 copies planned for France are already sold out. Ah Bond ...? Favorites 0 SHARE 2 IN IMAGES × 1/4 In December 2019, Triumph announced a new official partnership with EON Productions, a British company at the helm for James Bond films. The manufacturer took the opportunity to reveal the participation of its motorcycles in the action scenes of the 25th James Bond, Dying Can Wait, whose official launch, originally scheduled for April, has been postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic (see trailer below). History to drive the point home and to celebrate as it should be this association, the British mark produced a Scrambler 1200 baptized "Bond Edition". Produced in only 250 copies for the world, including 25 for France, it was "inspired by the incredible [sic!] Scrambler 1200 customized used for the stunts of Dying Can Wait", another film in which James 007 Bond is still fighting bad from potron-twink, as usual. Black is black And as said James does not often see life in pink, the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, extrapolated from the Scrambler 1200 XE, is essentially dressed in black. From the mudguards to the fork, via the swingarm, the gearbox output gearbox, the passenger handle or the engine spoiler, everything is anodized or black lacquered. The rest consist of black cabochon fog lights, an Arrow muffler with carbon fiber end caps, a reservoir of machined front brake fluid, a stainless steel headlight grille, a saddle embroidered with a Bond logo, etc. Finally, to justify its name a little more, the Scrambler Bond Edition, of course with numbered plate, sports several 007 logos: on the plate with side number, but also on the dashboard since another 007 is displayed a short instant when you turn the key… Bond and the motorcycle, old story To be complete, the very special agent of His Very Gracious Majesty - who damn has the means, since the Scrambler Bond Edition was sold € 19,500 - ate at all motorcycle side racks. He thus moved on the back of BMW R 1200 C in Tomorrow never dies, of Honda CRF 250 in Skyfall, of Cagiva 600 in Golden Eye, of Montesa Cota in Quantum of Solace, etc.
