Enough to thicken the catalog of eligible A2 motorbikes from the German firm in Europe. Nothing stops TVS Motor! After the recent acquisition of Norton, the Indian manufacturer is shifting to a new model in partnership with BMW. Planned for 2021 - including on the European market -, the motorcycle rests on the same platform which saw the birth of the G 310 GS (trail) and G 310 R (roadster), also built by TVS. A BMW rebadged Apache RR TVS? Compliant with Indian antipollution standards (Bharat stage emission 6, equivalent to the Euro 5 standard), it is likely that this new motorcycle is the heir to the TVS Apache RR 310. Also designed on the platform of the G 310, the small Indian sports car use their frame, suspensions and braking system. In short, this TVS is more or less the “coursified” version of these models. One could, be mistaken, imagine the motorcycle sporting the German propeller logo On its technical sheet, we note the presence of a 34 hp single cylinder displaying a torque of 2.75 m.kg (27.3 Nm) and a top speed of 160 km / h. The total weight is 170 kg all full. This "mini-S 1000 RR" could well make its way alongside the stars of the small-displacement sports segment - Kawasaki Ninja 400, Yamaha R3 and KTM RC 390 in the lead. La Béhème, compatible with the A2 license, could also be offered at a more affordable price than its competitors (the equivalent of € 2,900 in India). Arguments that could well arouse interest in him. It remains to be seen whether this is indeed a 2021 edition of the TVS Apache 310 RR - already conceptualized as the BMW G 310 RR Concept in 2018 in Japan - or a completely different motorcycle.
