Despite being just 25, the Brazilian superstar has enjoyed a short but remarkably eventful and decorated career. Here is the Neymar story so far… Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, to give him his full name, was born in São Paulo on 5 February 1992. His father, Neymar Santos Sr, was a former footballer himself, and now works as his son’s advisor. “My father has been by my side since I was little. Neymar played his emotional final match for Santos on 26 May 2013 before completing a €57.1 million move to Barcelona, where he signed a five-year contract.
