AymenGhost. Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) Conquer hearts without seeming to do too much. Isn't that the delicate art of seduction? Appearing in 2016, the Q2 is still one of the most prominent urban SUVs. It must be said that competition is limited and that it does not have at all the same methods of seduction as the youngest of the siblings of SUVs from the firm of the Rings. The Mini Countryman? More exuberant, more fun, therefore necessarily less elegant and refined. The Englishman’s cousin, the BMW X2? More aggressive and positioned a little too high in terms of budget? The DS 3 Crossback? He made an impression on the last edition of the Mondial de Paris, but did not do it in half measures either. No, the Q2 is as it would say alone in the world ... Like its aforementioned rivals, this SUV is the assurance of not drowning in the homogeneity of the fleet. But he stands out by not overdoing it! It stands out with style, displays its personality in all sobriety. The women that this "executioner of hearts" has caught in his nets know something about it! Its fairly simple, discreet, but effective lines, its interior which one could say endlessly that it is super well finished without doing it entirely justice, its generous series endowment with regard to its roughly competitive calling price, are so many decisive arguments. But the real big highlight of the Q2 is that it allows you to drive in a premium SUV without having to suffer the inherent faults of this type of vehicle. The spaciousness is generous in view of its compactness, which allows it to be almost as maneuverable and easy to live in town as a city car (4.12 m long, or 15 cm longer than the first generation A1 , but also 19 cm shorter than the A3 Sportback, model which has the same rolling base, the famous MQB platform). The Q2 can count on a very nice little petrol engine, a 1.0 TFSi Urban BVA with 116 hp and 200 Nm. Voluntary, alert, it does not show itself to be voracious. The credit goes to her auto box, sweet like a mom's smile. If the turbo-Diesel 2.0 TDI BVA of 143 hp and 320 Nm obviously offers an even better performance / consumption ratio, the Q2 that houses it is displayed at much higher prices. Count 299,000 DH for the Q2 petrol and 40,000 DH more for the less upscale of the three finishes of the Diesel offer (Urban, Sport and Design).
