The III Alicante Gastronomic Fair postpones its celebration and will take place between September 18 and 21, due to the current situation caused by Covid-19. This was announced by the president of the event, Carlos Baño, who explained that the priority is to guarantee the security and total success of the fair and bring peace of mind to both the attending public and the exhibitors and participants.

Bath has called for responsibility and prudence, remembering that these preventive measures are taken following the guidelines set by the competent health authorities that recommend restricting the holding of massive events for the sake of prevention.

Alicante Gastronomica -which was planned to be held from March 27 to 30, 2020- registered last year more than 60,000 visitors and the forecasts for this third edition is to reach 100,000, so "we have considered that the most appropriate is that The fair is held in September, which is also a very good time to enjoy the province of Alicante, due to the good weather and the large number of tourists who visit us.
