Mark-x Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Batman: In the leaked script, Batman, who would have been played by Armie Hammer, is one of the most important characters of the now-cancelled film, serving as both a protagonist, as well as an antagonist. Recently, Batman's Alex Ross-Esque mask from the film leaked online, but it appears that there were some unorthodox passes created by the art team. The artwork showcases a more ninja inspired aesthetic for The Dark Knight. Although this was seemingly little more than experimentation by Miller and his crew, the artwork is certainly a fascinating glimpse at what was going through their minds. Superman: What D.J. Cotroana would have brought to the role of Superman is one of Justice League: Mortal's biggest questions. Whether the Shazam star would have been the best Superman since Christopher Reeve or not, he certainly looked cool in the artwork produced for what The Man of Steel would've looked like in the film.As seen in the art, the beautifully simple suit took some liberties from the source material, but the bright blue, red, and yellow color scheme was translated perfectly. With the middling Superman Returns fresh in everyone's minds, Cotrona's Superman would've certainly stood out from Brandon Routh's Man of Steel. The Flash: One character who got a lot of play in JLM's script was Barry Allen/The Flash. A piece of concept art that's been turning a lot of heads is a black version of Flash's traditional costume that was supposedly intended for the funeral scene that would have kicked off both the introduction and the wrap up of the film.
