Inkriql
The agreement between TVS and BMW was never entirely clear to us regarding the 310. Until now they have not coincided in the versions that each presented. The Germans released the R and GS versions and for their part the Indians kept the RR which is, perhaps, the most interesting version of the 3. Also, little by little over time the rumors about a possible double erre by part of the Teutons were fading. Everything indicated that things were going to stay like this. The truth is that now, TVS seems to be in full development of a naked version of its 310 RR, so it would go out to compete directly with the G310R. All of this was disclosed at a recent shareholders meeting in Hosur, India, where TVS Motor Company is based. While this may be the second model for the brand that may emerge from the deal, there would also be an electric motorcycle. Starting with the nnaked, it would be a version with less fairing and without semi-handlebars of the RR310, and it is likely to even carry the initials RTR, so associated with TVS already. Obviously this will come from the hand of a less sporty design and that allows a more relaxed driving, for every day. A kind of RTR 200 but more muscular. The engine would be the same 312.2 cc single cylinder that delivers 34 horsepower and 27.3 Nm that we already know in the other three models that went into production. And it would be the cheapest of the 4, below the TVS 310RR. If production is confirmed, it will be another alternative that will have an impact in our market, where Beta Motor Argentina has the representation of the brand, along with the Beta and Zontes brands. And it would not be surprising if it arrives quickly, counting from its launch in India. The rumors already speak of the presentation of a production model at the conference. On the other hand, the electric product, which they could also think of bringing, would be a quite interesting scooter, based on the Creon concept presented at Auto Expo 2018, but for this, normality through, it would have to wait until the next edition of the shows in this 2020.
