Porsche 911 Turbo

Now almost all Porsche have turbo. And even the electric Taycan is called "Turbo." But, when talking about "911 Turbo", it only remains to surrender to King Porsche. The German brand presented today at the Geneva show “virtual” (see live broadcasts) the new generation of its most famous sports car.

It is based on the new generation 992 (read review), and was presented in two versions: Turbo S Coupé and Turbo S Cabriolet. Does this mean that in the future there will be versions "Turbo Without The S" with less power, as has always happened so far? The brand did not clarify.

Because it is clear that power and torque, there is plenty. The new Turbo S have a 3.8-cylinder 3.8 Boxer engine, with two turbochargers of variable geometry. They deliver a power of 650 horses (70 more than the 991 Turbo S) and 800 Nm of torque (50 more than its predecessor).

Combined with an automatic double clutch box (eight-shift PDK), it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches 330 km / h.
