Love Pulse Posted March 2, 2020 Share Posted March 2, 2020 The South Korean government filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor against the leaders of the "Shinchongi" religious sect, on charges of murder and others, for refusing to cooperate in preventing the spread of the Coruna virus and subjecting their followers to examination.According to "Russia Today", the mayor of the capital, Seoul, Park Won-sun, on Sunday, via his Facebook account: The city administration has filed a legal complaint with the Seoul District Prosecutor's Office against the sect's founder, Lee Man-hee, and leaders 12 branches of the sect, on charges of murder, damage and violation of the Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases Act. "Park" stressed the need to forcibly investigate them and bring them to justice, against the background of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) as soon as possible; saying: The fact that they did not take measures, led to the death or injury of many people.He called on the public prosecutor to conduct a swift and strict investigation and punish the "Chenchongi" leaders.And the Seoul city government declared: "They refused to undergo virus testing, and did not take any measures to make Shinchonji followers cooperate with the authorities to prevent the spread of the virus," according to the South Korean Yonhap news agency."Shinchongi is also suspected to have provided inaccurate lists of its followers, which impedes the work of the authorities," she said.
