Love Pulse
On Sunday, the Iraqi parliament holds an extraordinary session called by Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to give confidence to his government. Within hours of the upcoming session, the main political forces renewed their refusal to give confidence to Allawi's government, and the Union of Forces demanded his partners in the political process from Al-Fateh Alliance and others to replace Allawi with another character, according to a Sky News Arab reporter. In the field, the Iraqi authorities closed the Al-Sink Bridge and the Green Zone in the center of the Iraqi capital, as a precautionary measure for po[CENSORED]r demonstrations in which coordination groups from the southern regions of Iraq participate. And the Iraqi parliament failed, on Thursday, to hold a scheduled session to give confidence to the Allawi government, and was postponed because the quorum was not complete, which pushes the country to more political differences. The announcement of the upcoming government formation comes at a time when anti-ruling demonstrations continue, which led to its launch in the beginning of last October to the resignation of Adel Abdul Mahdi's government. The demonstrators refuse to assign Allawi, the former minister, on the grounds that he is close to the ruling elite against which they protest and demand their departure. Since the beginning of the demonstrations, about 550 people, the vast majority of them young demonstrators, have been killed, while about 3,000 have been injured.
