UNRWA, according to its statement today, Monday, the 3rd of this month, launched a healthy lifestyle campaign under the slogan "Your health is important" in its schools in the Gaza Strip. The campaign is part of UNRWA's broad approach to raising and increasing awareness among students, parents, education staff, and society in general about promoting a healthy school environment. The inaugural ceremony was organized at Al-Madinah Al-Munawara Preparatory School for Girls in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. The celebration clauses included exhibitions and information offices on healthy food and disease prevention such as diabetes, theater and musical performances that included a restaurant serving natural juice and healthy dishes with students representing the role of waitresses And drawing activities. During the opening ceremony, 12-year-old Raghad Abu Shammala, a student, participated in acting as a waitress at Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Healthy Food Restaurant, and she commented on the event and to promote and spread healthy food among parents and students: "By eating healthy food, we help protect our bodies." One of her teachers, Rania Abu Taha, who helped organize the celebration, added: "If students learn about health, healthy lifestyles, and potential illnesses when they are young, they will mostly absorb them, concentrate information, and maintain a healthy lifestyle when they grow up." She continued: For students in order to understand the advice provided to them by the education staff at "UNRWA", it is important for them to be involved in the campaign and start promoting a healthy environment in their schools themselves, and one of the most important means to reach students and involve them in communication activities and events are parliaments Schools.
