Love Pulse
The hashtag #TrumpShutdown, or its translation, "Trump Shuts the Government" topped the list of the world's most-traded hashtags, registering over a million tweets. This comes after the end of activity of the US federal administration after the Senate failed to approve the new budget. The hashtag witnessed wide participation by artists, celebrities, and politicians from the Democratic Party. Trump blamed Trump for stopping the work of the US government, saying he was "leading the United States to collapse, coinciding with the anniversary of his taking office." Activists have also described his reign as the worst in American history, and others have circulated cartoons ridiculing Trump's comments in which he criticized the administration of former President Barack Obama. On the other hand, activists accused politicians of making American citizens "hostage to their narrow party ambitions and interests." Other tweets also launched the hashtag #SchumerShutdown, meaning "Schumer closes management." It is reported that Senator Chuck Schumer is the leader of the Democratic minority, in the US Senate. Those in charge of the hashtag blamed the Democrats for stopping the federal government's activities, and described what was happening as a political spoil, saying that the Republicans had not negotiated the main demand of their opponents - immigration policy. The Arab singers were not immune to what happened, as they resorted to the satirical style of commenting on the event.
