They arrested a 15-year-old linked to the feminicide of Nazareth Baptist, a student at the University of Chapingo

New information has been released regarding the case of the feminicide of Nazareth Baptist Lara, the 15-year-old girl who was found lifeless within the facilities of the University of Chapingo, and that a child under 15 was arrested for elements of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico due to its probable participation in the event.

According to information made public by the Prosecutor's Office itself through its Twitter account, following the evidence that the FGJEM Investigative Police collected, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Adolescents requested a judge to issue an order to apprehension against the minor, due to his possible intervention.

The authorities also reported that the young man was transferred to the Quinta del Bosque Detention Center for adolescents, located in the municipality of Zinacantepec, where a judge specializing in minors will determine his legal status.

It should be noted that the Executive Commission of Attention to Victims of the State of Mexico (CEAVEM) has provided legal advice to the young woman's family as well as offering them psychological and social work support. Another element on which they have paid attention is the position of the rector of the University, who mentioned that the murder of the young woman was a femicide.
