To close a successful year, Abel Pintos premiered the “I want to sing” video clip that is part of his next album that he plans to release in 2020. The leading artist published the song on his official YouTube and Spotify accounts.

“Many times they ask me what I do when I don't sing. #QuieroCantar tells me what happens to me, how I feel and HOW MUCH I want to feel again floating in a song in those days. And some more things, of course, that are there waiting to be interpreted from the place of each one, ”he said on Twitter.

The renowned performer composed about 40 songs for his new album. About half of the topics he wrote together with other authors he met while touring America and Europe. In total, they selected between 12 and 16 songs for the next album.

“Music is still absolutely protagonist in my life because it is truly my best, or my friendliest, way to express myself. I begin to understand that it is possible to create spaces for different things, while my music is still the protagonist and still working. It is something that used to be much more rigid. But now I not only feel curious, I always felt it, but I also feel I can start doing it, ”he said in an interview with Teleshow.

Last November, Abel appeared at the Buenos Aires Arena to give three symphonic recitals, with tickets totally sold out. It was the first time that the artist shared the stage with 56 musicians on stage to interpret his songs in symphonic format. As of 2020, Pintos has a series of recitals as he usually does every year. In January it will be presented in Uruguay: at the Convention Center of Punta del Este (January 10) and the Andresito Festival in Andresito Flores (January 11).

Then he will return to Argentina to participate in the XXXVII National Lake Festival in Federacion, Entre Ríos (January 12); the 36th Fisherman's Festival in Sauce Viejo, Santa Fe; the 55th National Dressage and Folklore Festival in Jesús María, Córdoba (January 16). Finally, he will offer shows at Poultry Farming 2020 in Punilla, Córdoba and at 9th Mega Douglas Haig at the Pergamino Stadium in Buenos Aires (January 18).
