These researchers are governed in Spain by the Private Security Act of 2014 and assume a strict code of ethics. What is a detective for?

How do they form?

It is a three-year university course. A career is not necessary. Simply approve access to the university, have another degree or a higher cycle.

What kind of customers do they have?

Mainly corporate. They pose temporary casualties that they suspect; unfair competition; debt collection ... Infidelities are less requested. That has changed. Before adultery was criminalized and had to prove it to divorce.

What happens if they discover you?

Is it a dangerous profession?

Sometimes. When someone discovers that you follow him, he can get angry, he can attack you, but it is not usual for them to discover you. People get upset if you enter their personal life. I have never had to run away. However, we take security measures.

The majority. There are some that cannot or that customers cancel before finishing.

Do you reveal your profession?

I am reluctant to say what I do. I usually answer that I am a lawyer.

Can you disconnect?

I try, but being a detective is not just a profession, it is a way of life. You acquire vices and your brain sees things automatically.
