The starting gun will take place on November 29 from 5:00 p.m. The Avenue of the Constitution will host children's games and a concert prior to the act of lighting Christmas. It will be at 7:00 pm when all the streets will be illuminated with Christmas lights, after this, after 9:00 pm, there will be a parade and band concerts. From 17 hours you can enjoy a family show with «Babyradio», next to the arch of the Seville City Hall, where Mon el Dragon and his friends will not be missing, in addition to Lola Toc Toc. Then, at 6.30 pm, the band «Mixtolovers» will also perform. The Citizen Participation Area will organize in that same space on Saturday December 30 a carol contest in the afternoon from 18.30 to 21.00. On the other hand, this Thursday, November 28, in the neighborhood of Torreblanca the Christmas tree will be illuminated at 6.30 pm, with the traditional chocolate that will be organized in the Polígono Sur. With regard to Christmas lighting, the Seville City Council has indicated that "more streets than ever, almost 300 streets, and the city will have more bright trees than it has had until now." All the lighting is led technology and the supply, for the first time this year, is through a contract with 100% green and renewable energy, which will significantly reduce emissions. In addition, in the Old Town this year there will be more motifs with volume and new designs for Tetuán, Sierpes, El Salvador, Avenida de la Constitución and Alfonso XIII. As is tradition, this new edition of Alumbra will also have special lighting in the Plaza de San Francisco again by the hand of Ximénez, in this case with the collaboration of Grupo LAR, Fundación Unicaja and Grupo AZVI.
