The game continued smoothly until the last minute, when visiting goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota cleared a ball. As is customary in Mexico, the scream was heard once again. Peñaloza stopped the ball and asked the players to withdraw from the court. The local sound made another warning and the local soccer players approached the gallery to ask the public to have respect with the rivals.

For this interruption, the referee added 12 minutes, in which Monarcas took the opportunity to tie the game, which until then he lost.

Since this FIFA protocol was implemented in the MX League, some matches had already been interrupted, but none to the extent that the players had to leave the court. If the scream continued, the central judge had to suspend the party definitively, in accordance with the regulations.

In this regard, Ignacio Ambriz said in a press conference that "these stops will not change anything as long as there is no respect for football."

The match ended with equality and will be defined next Saturday in the field of León. The Mexican José Juan Macías scored the first for visitors at minute 8, but the reaction of the locals came two minutes later with the goal Edison Flores. Ángel Mena returned the lead to León at minute 18, but Flores scored again at 38.
