The Car of The Year is the most prestigious award for the European automotive industry, despite firms competing from all continents. In fact, among the finalists there are two German, two American, two French and one Japanese. In consideration there were another 28 models that reached the last cut. These are: Audi E-Tron, BMZ Z4, BMW X6, BMW X7, DS 3 Crossback, Ferrari F8 Tribute, Kia e-Soul, Mazda 3, Mazda CX-30, Mercedes CLA, Mercedes EQC, Mercedes GLB, Mercedes GLS, Nissan Juke, Opel Corsa, Porsche 911, Range Rover Evoque, Renault Captur, Škoda Kamiq, Škoda Scala, Ssangyong Korando, Subaru Forester, Toyota Camry, Toyota Rav4, Toyota GR Supra, Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen T-Cross.
