In May 2018, businessman Elon Musk promised that in 2020 his electric car brand Tesla would be launched for sale in Argentina. And, as the promised date approaches, there are many who doubt that it can be fulfilled.

However, there were also many who doubted when Musk announced that Tesla would launch a pick-up. It is the best-selling vehicle segment of any kind in the United States. And Musk promised to break the rules of that segment with his expected truck.

This time, Musk did not disappoint: Tesla Cybertruck is nothing like a pick-up. It is a futuristic design utility, 100% electric and with autonomous driving technologies, which can already be booked in the United States.

Unlike a traditional pick-up, the Cybertruck does not have a body supported on a chassis of stringers. It has a self-supporting structure that combines stainless steel with high strength steel.

The design is not conventional either. It looks like a glassy pyramid with wheels. At the rear it has a cargo box, which closes completely with a blind. It has a double cabin for six passengers and the cargo box is 1.98 meters long.

All Cybertrucks come standard with pneumatic suspension of varying height. The maximum clearance of the ground can reach 40 centimeters.

Cybertruck is already offered in the United States in three versions. The main differences lie in the number of engines (one, two or three) and in the traction system (rear or double).

* Cybertruck Single Motor RWD: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in “less than 6.5 seconds” and has a declared autonomy of “more than 400 kilometers”. It has a towing capacity of 3,400 kilos. It costs $ 39,900.

* Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in “less than 4.5 seconds” and has a declared autonomy of “more than 480 kilometers”. It has a towing capacity of 4,500 kilos. It costs $ 49,900.

* Cybertruck Tri Motor AWD: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in “less than 2.9 seconds” and has a declared autonomy of “more than 805 kilometers”. It has a towing capacity of 6,350 kilos. It costs $ 69,900.

* Sel-Driving: As an option, the autonomous driving package offered by other Tesla models is offered. It costs $ 7,000.

* Deliveries: The Single and Dual versions have deliveries planned for "late 2021". La Tri is scheduled for "late 2022".

* ATV: Along with the pick-up, an ATV type four-cycle, also electric, was presented. No features or prices were reported, but it is designed to enter the cargo box of the pick-up, which also has a ramp to facilitate the ascent and descent of the “cuatri” (see video below).
