Inkriql
Waiting for Godot. The "two-act tragicomedy" written by Samuel Beckett in the late forties has already become a classic of the theater of the absurd. In this version directed by Antonio Simón, Alberto Jiménez and Pepe Viyuela give life to the iconic Vladimir and Estragon, who hope, without luck, that the mysterious Godot will pass through there. Meanwhile, only Pozzo and his slave Lucky appear on the scene, to which he has been tied with a rope, and a young man who announces that Godot will not come today, but tomorrow. A work in which nothing happens deliberately and that reflects the nonsense of human existence and the absurdity that exists in all hope. MOVIE THEATER Women Make Film More than 14 hours of footage and a thousand fragments of films have been necessary to collect in a documentary the story of the great film directors who, for more than a century, have been behind the camera, although the work of the majority of them has never been recognized. This very long documentary - which the Cineteca will screen in five sessions throughout this week -, signed by Mark Cousins, has the format of a road-movie narrated by Tilda Swinton and has some star appearances such as Jane Fonda, Debra Winger or Thandie Newton.
