Inkriql
Renault Argentina launched the new Sandero, Logan and Stepway (2020, see equipment and prices) this week. The models manufactured in the Cordoba plant of Santa Isabel received a restyling and several improvements. They changed the engines and released automatic gearbox, but above all things improved safety equipment: now they come standard with four airbags (before, two) and all CVT versions bring stability control (ESP, before only in the Sandero RS) . However, despite all these developments, what caught most attention was the new “adventurous” aesthetic of the Logan Intens CVT. He received some identity traits taken from the Stepway, such as fenders with black plastics. And the ground clearance also increased, compared to the conventional Logan. It is a design for the controversy, although in this particular case, Renault deserves the benefit of the doubt: the Sandero Stepway emerged in the same way, it was a commercial success. To such an extent, that today it is a model with its own identity: it is called “Stepway”, and it is the most expensive variant of this whole family of models. We are going to drive the new Logan Intens CVT of 975,500 pesos for a week. The full review will be published next week. .
