Both GIGABYTE and PowerColor have finally unveiled their two water-passed models for the high-end graphics card. In the case of GIGABYTE this has focused on the NVIDIA range, specifically in its custom model for the RTX 2080 SUPER, while PowerColor has finally shown its RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil. What can we expect from both models?

One of the curiosities of the GIGABYTE model is its name, since, possibly, it is one of the longest in history: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING OC Waterforce WB 8G, something that in the case of PowerColor does not occur, since They have been more direct with naming.

This GIGABYTE is a model focused on the most demanding users and who obviously have custom liquid cooling. Its chip has been selected through the certification of the GIGABYTE line of technologies called Gauntlet, which ensures that these chips will have a greater overclocking potential.

This system is nothing more than the typical binning but focused within the parameter line that GIGABYTE has for its GPUs. Like the AORUS models, this RTX 2080 SUPER Gaming OC Waterforce WB 8G (not to be confused) has a full cover block that will cool not only the GPU, but the VRM and VRAM, which will guarantee lower temperatures and a higher degree Overclockinguntitled-3.jpg

It will have a customized backplate for the model, an RGB lighting system and a series of components already traditional within the Ultra Durable series of the brand, something characteristic in its premium models.

Unfortunately, GIGABYTE has not disclosed information about the frequencies or which company has been responsible for manufacturing this block, although it seems that by its terminations it could be either EKWB or Bitspower.

What the brand has revealed is that after three years of standard warranty it offers, if we register the graphics card on its website within 30 days after purchase, GIGABYTE will extend another year for such warranty free of charge.PowerColor-Radeon-RX-5700-Liquid-Devil-1

The teaser that unveiled the brand has finally been forgotten, since through Facebook the same company has shown one of the most anticipated Navi cards by users, the PowerColor RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil.

As we intuited, the block is signed by EKWB and the PCB of its RED DEVIL model will be used, where together we can already imagine the overclock capabilities that we can achieve. The block itself is composed of an acrylic cover that will cover the entire PCB and that arrives with a novel design, covered by another kind of superimposed black cover where the card logo is appreciated.

Apparently it will include RGB lighting and will be the first 7 nm graphics card that will arrive water cooled in the world. The company, as in the case of GIGABYTE, has not revealed frequencies, but some photos of what we can expect from this beauty have already been leaked.
