a Toyota GR Supra arrived in Argentina

He landed on a flight from Europe. And it was hosted at the Ezeiza Cargo Terminal. The first Toyota GR Supra is already in Argentina.

The new sports of the Japanese brand is in the process of being launched for sale in our market, but next week it will make a debut as an avant-premiere, at the Autodromo de Buenos Aires.

In a private event organized by Toyota Argentina, the GR Supra will be part of a track day where Spanish driver Fernando Alonso will participate (see separate note).

In addition, this event will mark the launch of the new sports pick-up manufactured in Zárate: the Hilux GR2, with a V6 naphtero engine (read more).

The Supra GR was developed in partnership between Toyota and BMW. It is manufactured at the Magna Steyr plant (Austria), where the Z4 Roadster (Supra convertible twin) is also produced.

The Supra GR is offered with two engines: BMW 2.0 turbo (four cylinders, 258 hp and 400 Nm) and BMW 3.0 turbo (six cylinders, 360 hp and 500 Nm). The automatic transmission (no manual option) is also produced in Germany: it is an eight-speed ZF, with torque converter.
