Inkriql
For reasons that are unknown, AMD has just delayed the presentation date of its new Threadripper 3 processors. These new models, which arrive to take their place in the HEDT range of this manufacturer, will be the first in this series that will assemble the new architecture internal AMD Zen 2. And, given the impressive performance displayed by the Ryzen range, enthusiasts are eager to see how they perform. Until just a few days ago, the rumor that circulated with more force on the new AMD Threadripper 3, is that they would be presented today, November 5, 2019. However, today we have learned that AMD would have delayed a few days more this date . The new date would, in theory, be within a couple of days: November 7, 2019. However, we cannot help but notice that all this is nothing more than a rumor. Although the source from which we have known it, is usually quite reliable. Anyway, although the delay is correct and not a rumor, the only thing that was known with certainty is that, the new models of AMD Threadripper 3 would arrive from the month of November 2019. As can be seen in the previous image. Therefore, AMD would still be within the time frame given to make this presentation. A presentation for which, certainly, there are many expectations. Given the excellent performance that AMD Zen 2 processors have been showing since its launch. Everyone wants to know the real performance of these new AMD Threadripper 3 The AMD Zen 2 architecture that is currently installed by the Ryzen 3000 processors and the Rome core EPYC has been a before and after for AMD. So important has been the change in performance, compared to the previous AMD Zen and Zen + architectures, that users have massively launched to buy the new processors. But, beyond users, companies have also been launched, when updating their servers. Something that is perfectly reflected in the latest financial results of AMD. During the last quarter, these results were similar to those obtained in 2005. Although we are all aware that the HEDT range is not as "interesting" as the Ryzen for the average user. There are many users who also use their processors for more than just play. And AMD Threadripper processors have always demonstrated excellent capabilities for both. But, above all, they have been able to stand up to you, from you to you, to the Intel Core ix X range. That, until the appearance of these processors, were the only existing processors in the HEDT range. For all the above, enthusiasts are looking forward to seeing these new AMD Threadripper 3 in action. Not only because it will be the first time we see a processor with 64 cores (and 128 threads) outside the servers. It's because we want to see how they will end up comparing themselves to the new line of Intel HEDT processors of the 10th Generation. They also look good, now that Intel has decided to halve many of the prices of the new models.
