AirPods Pro are official: so are Apple's noise canceling headphones

After months of rumors, Apple has finally officially introduced the AirPods Pro, its new wireless headphones that stand out for having active noise cancellation, surround sound and a new design. We tell you what are its characteristics, price and availability.

The new AirPods Pro arrive with a new look that aims to offer greater comfort of use. Now, Apple headphones integrate a flexible silicone pad that fits the ear, providing a suitable fit to each user, since it is available in three sizes.

Thanks to the incorporation of this element, the new generation of AirPods is not only more comfortable to wear, but also offers a higher level of insulation. The new design includes a slot system that equalizes the pressure to avoid the inconvenience caused by other models of earplugs. In addition, they are resistant to sweat and water to do sports with them without problem.

The new AirPods Pro offer high-quality surround sound thanks to adaptive equalization, which allows you to automatically adjust the low and medium frequencies of the music to the shape of the ear. Thanks to this, headphones create a rich and immersive listening experience.

Active noise cancellation is the most anticipated feature of Apple's new headphones. To make it possible, they equip two microphones: one is oriented outward to analyze ambient noise and create an anti-noise that cancels it, and the other is oriented inward to detect and cancel the rest of the noise. And if the user does not want to isolate themselves from the world, the headphones have the ambient sound mode to listen to the surrounding noise.

As far as autonomy is concerned, AirPods Pro offers up to four and a half hours of audio playback and three and a half hours of conversation on a single charge. With the wireless charging case they have a range of more than 24 hours of playback and 18 hours of conversation.

In addition, they have voice activated Siri so that the user can use "Hey Siri" in hands-free mode to play songs, turn up the volume, make a call or listen to directions.
AirPods Pro: price and availability

Apple has announced that the price of AirPods Pro in Spain will be 279 euros, 100 euros more expensive than normal AirPods with standard charging case. They are already available for sale on the official website of the company and orders will begin shipping from next October 30.
