It is a matter of time for the authorities to capture the leader of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, Antonio Yépez Ortiz “El Marro”, as stated by the Commissioner of Citizen Security of Guanajuato, Sophia Huett López.

The local official considered that the detention of "El Marro", who has become one of the priority objectives for the federal government, could happen soon as the huachicolero leader lives to "kills jump", fleeing from one place to another and he even has to sleep outdoors.

“The conditions in which the leader of this organization could be found are not the most comfortable as we could have thought he lived in these photographs, the most complex situation is found and this therefore implies effectively from sleeping in the open air, until we had to spend a night in a different place ”commented Huett.

He insisted that the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel is very weakened, so it seeks to stop the heads and not only focus on the leader.

“I would insist on not obsessing with the head, finally when someone becomes obsessed with only stopping the visible leader. We must remember that there are media leaders known but there are also others within organizations that have important leadership, ”he recalled.

"The objective is to stop all those who have a level of participation in criminal activities, it must be remembered that in the past weeks the names of other people with important hierarchy in the organization were made known," said Huett López.

On whether there are conditions to stop "El Marro" without a situation similar to last week in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Sophia Huett, considered:

“A situation like Culiacán would hardly happen in Guanajuato, when you design an operation, what you have to privilege is to safeguard the integrity of the citizenship and, from that, you design the detention operation. In Guanajuato, the Governor's instruction is to protect citizens in high-impact operations and the clearest example was the incursion of Santa Rosa in March, ”he said.

Huett López insisted that there is a control of the security and presence of the entire state apparatus in the area of Santa Rosa de Lima.

Regarding the dissemination of the audios attributed to a telephone call between Antonio Yépez Ortiz and his mother, as well as the dissemination of the images of the house that has seven pools, the Guanajuato official said they are part of the investigations.
