The budget for 2020 will include a new 10% pay increase for military personnel.
 
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov.

According to him, more things have happened in the army in two and a half years than in the last 25 years.

The salaries of the servicemen have been increased twice by 10% each, the available staff has been increased, the minister said.

Days ago, Karakachanov said the ministry's leadership continued to push for an increase in defense spending in the 2020 Budget.

According to him, the increase in the salaries of the military is certain, but there will be differentiation and the employees in the heavier combat units will receive more money.
