France Football have unveiled their 30 candidates for the 2019 Ballon d'Or award.

Liverpool lead the way with seven nominees, with Manchester City just behind with five players in the running.

LaLiga Santander giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have four and two nominees respectively, with Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard representing Los Blancos.

The 30 candidates for the Ballon d'Or:

1 . Liverpool: Van Dijk, Firmino, Alisson, Wijnaldum, Alexander-Arnold, Mane and Salah

2 . Manchester City: De Bruyne, Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Aguero and Sterling

3 . Barcelona: Leo Messi, Griezmann, Ter Stegen and De Jong

4 . Real Madrid: Benzema and Hazard

5 . Tottenham: Son and Lloris

6 . Ajax: Van de Beek and Tadic

7 . Juventus: Cristiano Ronaldo and De Ligt

8 . PSG: Mbappe and Marquinhos

9 . Atletico Madrid: Joao Felix

10 . Napoli: Koulibaly

11 . Bayern Munich: Lewandowski

12 . Arsenal: Aubameyang

Spain also have five players competing for the best young player, or Kopa Trophy, wth Vinicius (Real Madrid), Lunin (Valladolid), Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid), Samu Chukwueze (Villarreal) and Kang-In Lee (Valencia) nominated.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona goalkeepers Jan Oblak and Marc-Andre ter Stegen will go head-to-head for the Yashin Trophy.

1 . Men's Ballon d'Or: Benzema (Real Madrid), Ter Stegen (Barcelona), Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona), Messi (Barcelona), Griezmann (Barcelona)

2 . Kopa Trophy: Vinicius (Real Madrid), Lunin (Valladolid), Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid), Samu Chukwueze (Villarreal) and Kang-In Lee (Valencia)

3 . Yashin Trophy: Oblak (Atletico Madrid) and Ter Stegen (Barcelona)

4 . Women's Ballon d'Or: Martens (Barcelona), Van Veenendaal (Atletico Madrid), Asllani (Tacon), Jakobsson (Tacon).
