DS 3 Crossback

DS Automobiles, the brand with premium positioning of the PSA Group, launched the new DS 3 Crossback last month (see equipment and prices). At this moment we have the Grand Chic version in the Autoblog garage: it has the most complete equipment, 1.2 turbo engine (155 hp and 240 Nm), eight-speed automatic transmission and costs 54 thousand dollars.

But before immersing ourselves in the complete critique of the model, we will analyze the other side of DS Automobiles Argentina. It is a company that offers cars - novelty - but also services for customers. Most of them are free, simply by being a user of the brand.

This is the "Only You" program, which offers a wide menu of proposals for customers. All of them are already operating in Argentina (except one) and are explained below.

* My DS App: It is an application that all users of a brand model can download. It offers information on autonomy, mileage and maintenance service alerts. It also allows you to book a visit to a dealership and find out about brand news.

* DS At Your Service: It is an online support service for customers of the brand. It allows to answer frequently asked questions by phone or via online chat.

* DS Club Privilege: They are frequent and free invitations, so that the clients of the brand enjoy different experiences. There are events about fashion, gastronomy, culture, technology and art. They are itinerant samples that are usually made within the DS Stores.

* DS Delivery Valet: You can buy your car and ask to have it delivered to your home, at no extra charge. An extra option is the DS Service Valet, where they remove and deliver the car at home after scheduled maintenance. This service is charged separately.

* DS Assistance: It is a roadside assistance service (or city), which operates 24 hours a day. It offers mechanical assistance and transfer to the destination. It is not necessary to have a DS 0km to use it: it is available for DS cars up to eight years old.

* DS Rent: This is the only service that is not yet available in Argentina, although it is announced “coming soon”. It is a car rental system of the DS brand. DS Stores will work across the country. It will allow you to rent different models for trips, special occasions or perform a more extensive test drive before deciding on the purchase.

* DS Stores: They are the exclusive dealers of DS, where sales of accessories and fashion items related to the brand are also offered. There are currently six throughout the country (Pilar, Martínez, Núñez, Rosario, Córdoba and Río Grande) and by the end of the year it will open one more in Quilmes.

What is the purpose of all these services? Loyalty customers, make them feel special and offer a more complete proposal than the sale of a simple car.

Simple car? That doesn't seem to apply for the DS 3 Crossback. The full review will be published next week.
