Presidential runoff election 2019: exit polls give landslide win for Kais Saied (TUNISIA)

(TAP) - Exit polls gave the 61-year-old independent candidate Kais Saied a landslide victory in the October 13 presidential runoff election over businessman and Qalb Tounes party president Nabil Karoui (56). "Sigma Conseil" gave Kais Saied 76.9% of the votes and Nabil Karoui 23.11%. That result was confirmed by "EMRHOD Consulting" which suggested Kais Saied won the presidential runoff with 72.5% of the votes, ahead of Nabil Karoui who got 27.5% of the votes The final results will be announced by the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE).
