Inkriql
Bill Gates founded Microsoft in 1975 and thus formed an empire that generated a fortune estimated at USD 107,000 million. After leaving the presidency of the company, he currently spends most of his time trying to change the world through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, although he is no longer the richest man in the world. The documentary series "Bill Gates under the magnifying glass" produced by Netflix shows the millionaire and philanthropist on his most human side. As can be seen in the publication, the foundation created in the year 2000 invests nearly USD 5 billion each year in American public education, in helping women, supporting family planning for the most disadvantaged groups and in childhood vaccination campaigns. The foundation that Bill directs with his wife Melinda is the largest and most influential in the world not only for its large budget, but also for the relevance of the projects it undertakes. Its main objective is to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged minorities in the United States, but many others have their focus beyond the borders of the country of origin of the founder of Microsoft. And something that makes this series very clear is that Bill Gates might not have had the philanthropic sense so developed had it not been for his wife Melinda, who supports the workload and decision making of the foundation. As if that were not enough, Gates also has the complicity of Warren Buffett, another American billionaire and American philanthropist who has been friends for decades and who has amassed a fortune close to USD 80,000 million in the world of investments and finance, of agreement with information from the Xataca portal. More than a decade ago Buffett announced that he will gradually donate 99% of his fortune to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a decision that reflects his commitment to philanthropy. Gates and Buffett maintain - during the footage - several conversations that demonstrate the firmness with which they intend to undertake those projects that can have a positive impact on the opportunities of the most disadvantaged groups in the poorest or developing countries, many of them in Africa. In some African countries, 12% of children die with less than 5 years due to diarrhea, a disease that has been eradicated for decades in advanced countries. Another example of the unfortunate conditions in which Africa is lived is Nigeria, which in 2018 uprooted India as the country with the largest number of people living in extreme poverty - more than 99 million - which together with exclusion, the Gender inequality, corruption and violence make it a favorite place for traffickers. And what about the sanitary conditions. This is how Bill Gates has dedicated himself to helping these disadvantaged po[CENSORED]tions, with a strategy that allows him to recruit engineers, inventors and researchers capable of proposing original ideas, such as a toilet that does not require energy or a system of sewage, or sewage treatment. The documentary shows some of these solutions, and almost all of them resort to the filtering of excrements in a more or less elaborate way. But one of them proposes a different approach that uses the combustion of feces to extract water vapor from them and facilitate their processing.
