[Nike]
Computer security is very important and users are little given to give it due importance. When the annual report of most used passwords comes out, they are usually 123456 and the like, which can be assaulted at all. To improve security, Google has launched the Password Checkup feature. This function is designed to help users protect themselves, as it informs about unsecured passwords. Among the bad practices with passwords, is to put a very easy, use passwords with personal data or use it in all services. All these bad practices expose users to irruptions in their accounts and data theft. Google will let us know if the password we use is unsecured To help us with our daily security, Google will tell us if our password is weak. We can thus change it and make it as difficult as possible to access our accounts in social networks, bank, etc. In addition, special emphasis will be placed on the user not using the same password in different services, the main security hole. Those users who regularly use Google Chrome can now start enjoying this feature. Password Checkup can be found in the ‘Password Manager’ of the Google browser. There we will be shown the security level of the different passwords we use. Depending on the number of passwords stored and the websites we use, we will have more or less warnings. It also depends on the website and the use we make of it. This already goes a bit at personal discretion, but especially in social networks, bank and similar it is important to have a good password.
