Inkriql
We have been listening to rumors about a new and totally new device from Microsoft for a long time. Under the code name Andromeda, it is an open secret that the Redmond-based giant is working on its first tablet with a folding screen. And it seems we already know what your operating system will be called: Windows 10X. Before continuing, we must bear in mind that this information is a rumor, so you have to take the information with tweezers. But, considering that the source of this leak has been Evan Blass himself through his Twitter account, an expert leakster of the technology sector whose publications have a really high margin of success, we can give this news quite truthfulness. For now, we have very little information about Window 10X, just that it exists and that Microsoft is preparing this version of its well-known operating system to adapt this system to double-panel systems or its expected tablet with a folding screen. But what should we expect? As far as we know, this operating system would work through a container system to take advantage of this format in the best possible way. On the other hand, taking into account that this interface would be oriented for double screen and folding screen systems, the most logical thing would be to adapt it to its particular characteristics. In this way, by having a double screen system we could do something quite similar to the tool that Windows 10 has to work on desktops with several screens. Yes, we can run different applications on each of the screens, in addition to being able to send an application between them based on our needs. In this section, few differences will be seen regarding the conventional operating system. But, when talking about a folding screen the thing changes. More than anything because, to begin with, the existence of Andromeda is confirmed, the long-awaited Microsoft tablet that would stand out for having this technology on its panel. An operating system for a folding tablet, ideal to get the most out of it But why do you need a tablet with a folding screen? To start, you can have a device of smaller dimensions, since its folding system will allow it to be smaller. In addition, an adapted operating system would be very similar to what we saw at the time in the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. In this way, Windows 10X will allow us to run different tools in each of the panels, activate one of them to always see the time when we are not using it, take advantage of part of the panel as if it were a virtual keyboard, or even divide different screen elements to improve our productivity. What is clear is that, tomorrow is going to be a great day for the American giant: Microsoft will present its new generation of tablets and Surface convertibles, where it could give the big bell if it presents its expected tablet with folding screen and running Windows 10X. Or even a double screen laptop, in the style of the latest news from HP for the gaming sector ...
