Inkriql
The charging devices of iPhone, iPad and Mac are being replaced by the brand in various countries for fear that they may cause electric shocks to users. The products are wall plug adapters sold between 2003 and 2015, the brand announced on Twitter, however it is offering to replace them with new chargers in its various stores, which you can see here. The countries where chargers that could present a risk would have been distributed are Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as others in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. The brand reported: Apple has determined that, in very rare cases, Apple's three-legged AC wall plug adapters designed primarily for use in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong can break and create a risk of electric shock if exposed metal parts are touched. This wall plug adapter was shipped from 2003 to 2010 with Mac and certain iOS devices, and was also included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. Customer safety is always Apple's top priority, and we have voluntarily decided to change the affected wall plug adapters with a new adapter, free of charge. We encourage customers to change their wall plug adapter using the process described below. How to identify outdated plugs You have to compare your own adapter with the images below. The affected three-pin wall plug adapters are white, with no letters in the inner slot where it connects to an Apple power adapter. The new adapters are white with gray on the inside that connects to the power adapter.
