Inkriql
After the success and the great criticism received by users with its first version, Alphacool is finally ready the new CPU blocks for high performance liquid cooling. The range is still Eisblock XPX, except that now three different models are offered which have different characteristics: Eisblock XPX Aurora, Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge and Eisblock XPX Aurora Pro. If Alphacool managed to get one step ahead of the competition with the original Eisblock XPX, what has been done with its new range of CPU blocks for liquid cooling can put another small leap forward. To know this new Eisblock XPX Aurora range, you must first understand that the three blocks presented start from the same concept and have practically the same characteristics. So the most logical thing is to start listing them and then understand their differences. And it is that as usual in Alphacool, its blocks will start from an electrolytic copper coldplate with a nickel bath that offers a dissipation surface of 34 x 32 mm, so we can dissipate any current CPU (except the Threadripper that have blocks specific) thanks to larger dimensions. Its CNC machined part is not built in plexi, but in transparent nylon, which gives it greater strength and reliability, since it does not suffer with high temperatures nor can it crack. As was the case in the original Eisblock XPX, these Aurora will include a water ramp system patented by Alphacool, only that it has been improved. This system guarantees a more uniform injection of water through the G1 / 4 ports, which allows it to reach the ends with more pressure, increasing the cooling capacity.
