-INTOX- Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Hackers exposed the personal data of 110 million Americans, about half of the country's adult po[CENSORED]tion. And that's only in the last year, says CNN.According to researchers at the Ponemon Institute, the number of accounts broken in the last 12 months is 432 million. Each of these intrusions exposes data such as names, credit or debit cards, email, telephone, birthday, passwords or physical addresses. Even if only minimal data are stolen, they could be paired with credit card data, which could easily lead to various frauds by imposters.Specialists believe that this phenomenon is also due to the migration of life to online, where many are shopping, socializing or banking.
