CallingOutMayday Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 The war returns, the extreme right is oxygenated and Venezuela consolidates itself as a guerrilla spillway. For Colombian journalist Daniel Coronell, these are some of the consequences that the decision to return to arms announced on Thursday by the high command of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia could bring. For Colombia and for the peace process, what has happened through three things is very serious: first, for quality rather than for the number of guerrillas who have decided to return to arms; second, for the possible return of war and, even more, of terrorism to Colombian cities; and third, because it is a respite for the extreme right and ends up proving it right, at a time when it seemed to be politically against the wall.
