If 2018 is any indication we’re seeing a rise in po[CENSORED]rity of all kinds of off-roading once again. Take a look back to the ’50s,’ 60s and ’70s scramblers, flat track bikes and what we now call dual sports, enduros and adventure bikes, and you’ll see that more rugged bikes were massively po[CENSORED]r, despite their infancy. Swells in the po[CENSORED]rity of outdoor recreation has certainly helped boost overlanding. So where cruisers and custom choppers and high horsepower sport bikes once stole the hearts of the masses, there’s something about the utility and greater freedom of adventure that makes this year’s trend so po[CENSORED]r.
