Mr.Espinoza ♔♔♔
The Chrysler or Dodge Neon is a car of the segment C produced by the American manufacturer Chrysler between 1995 and Dodge 2006,2017 and its renewed generation of 2020. First generation (1995 ~ 99) The first generation, also called Plymouth Neon and Dodge Neon in their home country, aimed to replace the Plymouth Sundance and the Chrysler Shadow, respectively, with two veteran models with an appearance dating back to 1986. In Europe, Chrysler Neon does not replace either of them because both have not been officially imported. In its striking and youthful aesthetic compared to other sedans of the time, apart from its round headlights, its long and low front hood combined with a short and high third volume that made its silhouette resemble a coupe stood out. Not surprisingly, in the United States a two-door body was available apart from the four-wheel saloon. Initially, it was available with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that delivered 120 hp, associated with a 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic 31TH / A413 gearbox. In 1996, the engine has been reinforced, reaching its maximum power of 132 hp, for the upper single camshaft version and 150 hp for the double upper camshaft version. The range of engines was completed in 1998 with the appearance of version 1.8 of 115 hp (only in Europe), which decreased most of the consumption significantly at the cost of a slight loss of performance. The Chrysler Neon in Argentina After the return of General Motors to Argentina (1995), Chrysler did not want to be less and also undertook the return. In 1996, Chrysler acquires the old Santa Isabel factory, which belonged to General Motors in partnership with Renault, and conditions it for the national production of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee trucks, transforming these vehicles into the first American vehicles manufactured in the country afterwards of more than 10 years. To all this, Chrysler sought a vehicle suitable for the Argentine market, to face its brand rivals: the Ford Escort and the Chevrolet Vectra. The chosen one was the Neon, who went on to occupy the place that vacated a successful vehicle for a long time: the Dodge 1500, with which Chrysler not only entered the fight again, but also marketed an American car after more than 10 years, thus breaking the trend of importing and / or manufacturing European vehicles. In addition, this car served as Chrysler's return letter to the national competitions, being a participant in the TC 2000 competitions. Its drivers were Ernesto Bessone and Pablo Peón. The third generation of the new Dodge Neon is based on the Fiat Tipo sedan (2016), which is marketed in European and Arab sedan body markets and only for markets in Mexico and Dubai will be marketed as Dodge Neon and has two engine options available. - 1.4L engine of 95 horsepower and 94 feet per pound of torque with manual transmission. - 1.6L EtorQ engine with 110 horsepower and 112 feet per pound of torque with 6-speed autostick automatic transmission. The brakes with ABS system correctly brake its great weight; on the rear axle they are drum brakes instead of discs, they are loud when emergency braking and make their braking very choppy despite not making it unstable. Its most basic version SE (1.4L), will have steel wheels with caps in 16 inches, as well as the most basic 1.6L automatic. The version will have 16-inch wheels in aluminum and the SXT Plus version, which is the most equipped with 17-inch wheels. The standard equipment will be: - ABS - ESP (traction control and stability) - Manual Air Conditioning (climatronic). - Pair of front airbags. - Stereo with AM / FM, auxiliary, Bluetooth and a small 4 "screen.
