The victim is Roberto Piti Corbalán, 35 years old and father of a girl, who died as a consequence of the multiple blows he suffered in one of the final laps of the first race of the day. The car of Ricardo Alzueta was confused after a touch with Carlos Ruiz and hit Corbalán, who worked in the sector of braking and had turned at that time to mark a touch that had occurred in the last corner. Corbalán was assisted by a doctor at the accident site, but finally arrived at Lucio Molas Hospital without life. As a result of the tragedy, the Pampas Federation of Sports Motorsport (Fepad), in charge of the competition control, decided to suspend the activity in the six tests of the category - four were to be held in La Pampa and two in Buenos Aires Corbalán officiated as a banderillero for more than a decade, although he was away for two seasons. Last year he again collaborated with the category. Hours before his death, he had posted an image on Facebook accompanied by the message: "Sun racing sunrise, I hope it's a nice day and close good weekend."
