gEoLgAu- Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Scientists believe: negative calorie - a myth If you ask Google about low calorie content, it immediately gives a list of products that possess it. There celery, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage. However, as scientists say, University of Dormsmouth cannot believe it. It turns out that the body is so cleverly arranged that it can extract energy even from such products. The only difference is in the amount of this energy. As an experiment, scientists for 10 days lizards from the family Agamova then starved, then gave them raw celery. Researchers calculated energy losses for digestion, bowel movements and obtained the result of a pure increase in energy. It turned out that the reptiles used a third of the calories consumed for digestion, another 43% for the elimination of waste products, the rest remained in the body. It turns out that products with negative calorie give the body from 20 to 50% of the pledged energy value.
