gEoLgAu- Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 (edited) During the restoration of the palace of the Roman emperor Nero, archaeologists discovered a secret room, according to Science Alert. According to scientists, the room, which was called the “Sphinx room”, was found in the “Golden House” of Nero. It is decorated with various frescoes, including the image of this mythical Egyptian creature. In addition, images of dancing centaurs, birds, fish, and a drawing of a warrior fighting a panther with a sword and a bow were found on the walls of the room. Scientists do not exclude that there are more various patterns in the room, however, until it is filled with dirt. Clearing it is not planned yet because of the danger of collapse of structures. The unfinished palace - “The Golden House” of Nero was abandoned in 68 AD after the death of the emperor. In 2017, a secret room was found inside the pyramid of Cheops.
